The progress of the project was described by Griff Rhys Jones in his television series"Restoration" seen on BBC 2 in the Autumn of 2003.
Built in 1819, as an ideal incorporating the latest architectural and agricultural developments, the farm has links with the famous Georgian architects, George Repton & John Nash.

 

 

At the end of 1998, the Traditional Buildings Preservation Trust dismantled the farm in three months, just ahead of the rail link engineering works.  Since dismantling the buildings, the Trust has re-erected five buildings at the new site at Woodchurch :
